Position Title: Treasurer
Role Overview:
As the Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial matters, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing financial reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders. Your expertise and dedication will directly contribute to our ability to fulfill our mission and serve our community effectively. This role is an executive board position. Time commitment is 8-10 hours per month.

Role Overview:
As the Event Planner, you will play a crucial role in organizing and executing successful events that support our organization's mission and goals. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization to execution, to ensure that our events are engaging, impactful, and memorable. Your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills will contribute to the success of our events and help us further our mission in the community. The time commitment is 5 hours per month.

The time commitment is 5 hours per month.
The Virginia Tech Black Alumni Society (VTBAS) serves 11,000+ Black Hokies and provides a network for Black alumni and students to connect through mentoring, social activities, and career development.
