Please note that registration for this event will close on Wednesday, October 11 at 12:00 noon EST so that final details can be set and arrival information sent to all registrants. No on-site registration will be offered.

The VT Black Alumni Society Homecoming Tailgate location is the Career Services Lawn. We will not know the tailgate start time until the football game time is set by the ACC. Please plan for the tailgate to start 3 to 4 hours before football kick-off.  

VT Alumni Association Tailgate

Please note that the VT Black Alumni Society (VTBAS) Tailgate is not the same event as the VT Alumni Association Tailgate at Holtzman Alumni Center. Each event has a separate registration link and price. Paying for the VT Alumni Association Tailgate does NOT include access to the VT Black Alumni Society Tailgate and vice versa.

The Virginia Tech University Advancement Office requested a block of tickets for Inclusive Alumni Societies through Alumni Relations and Virginia Tech Athletics for the Homecoming Football Game vs. Wake Forest on October 14th. These tickets are now available through the Athletics Ticket Office. If you plan to attend the game and haven’t secured tickets yet, you can use this link to make your purchase. Please enter the promo code HCF2304. The Athletics Ticket Office will advise you on how to access your game tickets after your purchase has been made. Note that these tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
