BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dr. Calvin D. Jamison is the vice president for facilities & economic development at The University of Texas at Dallas. His office is responsible for overseeing the facilities management, economic development, construction, real estate, and auxiliary services enterprises of the university.
UT Dallas has received more than 36 awards for building designs, LEED certification, and sustainability under his leadership.

Prior to UT Dallas, Dr. Jamison served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer at Hampton University. He previously served as CEO/city manager of Richmond, Virginia, where he oversaw almost $4 billion in new development.
Dr. Jamison received the Distinguished Alumni Service Award from Virginia Tech, and he was appointed to the Board of Visitors of Virginia Tech by the governor of Virginia. He holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Virginia Tech.
Wayne Robinson is the Triad NC Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA.) He is responsible for growing the influence of FCA through its values of integrity, serving others, teamwork, and excellence, as well as developing the 4 C’s of FCA ministry: Coaches, Campus, Camps, and Community.

He is the Senior Pastor of New Millennium Christian Center, Inc. (NMCC). Located in Greensboro since 2004, NMCC is a non-denominational ministry.

Until 2016, he was the president and CEO of Career Path Management & Associates, LLC. Robinson’s previous careers have included being Senior Client Partner and Diversity Practice Leader for Wyndham Mills International, Inc.

Robinson earned his finance degree from the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech in 1980. He served on the VT Board of Visitors (2014-2018) and the VT Alumni Association (2009-2012). He is a recipient of the university’s Distinguished Alumni Service Award.
James Darnell Watkins, D.D.S., of Hampton, Virginia, earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Virginia Tech in 1971. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1975 from the Virginia Commonwealth University – Medical College of Virginia Dental School (becoming their 5th African-American graduate).
An accomplished general and family dentist, Watkins has been practicing dentistry for over 45 years. His career began as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where he went on to serve for 22 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves, retiring as a Captain in 2002.
He has the unique distinction of serving as the first African-American to be president of the Virginia State Board of Dentistry, where he served five 4-year terms.

Dr. Watkins is the recipient of the 2022 Virginia Tech Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award, the 2022 Old Dominion Dental Society’s Dentist of the Year Award, the 2010 Virginia Tech “Most Influential Black Alumnus” Award.
Benjamin Zion Stallings II, M.D., of Silver Spring, Maryland, earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Virginia Tech in 1984, and then went on to earn a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Stallings trained at the University of Maryland for his internship and then completed his residency in Radiology at the Medical Center of Delaware in 1993.

Stallings is a board-certified radiologist who currently serves as Director of the Department of Imaging at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Maryland. He is the president and CEO of Diagnostic Imaging Associates, a radiology practice dedicated to using state-of-the-art technologies to diagnose and treat all forms of ailments and diseases of the human body.

Stallings established the Dr. Benjamin Stallings ’84 and Kimberly Stallings Endowed Scholarship. He is a member of the university’s Ut Prosim Society, previously served on the Virginia Tech Foundation Board, and enjoys watching Hokie athletics.
